When we think about summer we think of warm days filled with sunshine! Many parts of the country don't get sunshine everyday, in fact lots of summer days are filled with rain.
So what are you supposed to do with the kids on a rainy day? You could put them in front of the TV or give them an electronic to play with...or you could do a craft! I've put together a list of ten crafts you can do on a rainy summer day!
10 Things To Do On A Rainy Summer Day!
1. Simple Leather Bracelets - Little girls and boys will both love this craft. It will require a little parent help to set-up. However, once set-up you can let your kids go at this craft alone. Encourage them to get creative!
2. Patriotic Sand Candles - This craft is shown as a 4th of July craft but you could use it for any occasion. This is a very simple craft and you can do it on just about any budget!
3. Magic Powder Craft - This craft only uses a few ingredients and the kids will really get a kick out of this! Super easy to put together and will provide the kids with lots of entertainment.
4. End of School Year Interview - This is more of an activity then a craft. However, it is a great way to capture all of the school year memories. It also comes with a free printable!
5. DIY Drinking Jars - This is a great craft to do on a summer rainy day. You only need a few items and it will keep the kids busy for hours. Not to mention you will end up with some beautiful new drinking jars.
6. Noisemaker Painting - Have left over noisemakers from New Years Eve or a birthday party? If so this is a great rainy day painting craft.
