Question: I know we can only do the $20 rebate once but can we do the $5 cat more than once?

I have three Kraft transactions I would like to do but worry the $5 cat’s might not print for the second two. Also do these roll?

Thanks! We drink a lot of crystal light at our house!

    • Mindi Cherry says:

The $5 Catalinas should roll, but I haven’t done the deal yet, so I am not 100% sure.

HOWEVER – the only Catalina that I can remember that DIDN’T roll at Acme was an amazing Proctor & Gamble deal…so the odds are very very good that it is rolling!

  2. lena parks says:

Mindi, you did not do the “how-many-newspapers-to-buy” post yet and I am going to wawa early in the morning, could you just reply here how many? And how many inserts there should be? Pleeease! Thanks. Love you.

    • Mindi Cherry says:

      Hey Lena!

I usually do that one first thing Saturday AM and have it up by 8ish. I haven’t done it yet, but I just took a quick look at the inserts (and I am in the middle of a party right now, so…..) ;-)

There are 2 inserts (a SmartSource and a Redplum) and it looks like a 6-10 paper week. There are a few coupons that only come out every 8-10 weeks for things that I like (SuperPretzel, Luigi’s Water Ice, Arm & Hammer Toothpaste, etc). There is also a $2 A1 Steak Sauce coupon that will come in handy for the Kraft Catalina/Rebate deal. The A1 is priced at $3 each, so that means that you could get 8 of them and a $1 item, use 8 A1 coupons and pay $9 and get a $5 catalina back! (check my math…I’m on my 3rd beer ;-) )

I’ll have the full preview up 1st thing in the AM!

Thank you. That was so nice of you. I really appreciate it.

  4. Barbara Pahutski says:

    OK, Mindi-
I’ve heard a rumor that there are actually a few different Kellogg’s Rebates out there. They all have the Fuel for School name-but, they all go to different PO Boxes. I sent in one from a KMart ad already. But, I checked one rebate from the Acme CS desk and one from a flyer that was out in a newspaper insert 2-3 wks ago and they DID have different PO Boxes-close, but different. Can I submit the ones with different PO Boxes to get a total of 3 rebates? Thanks!

  5. Manisha says:

I haven’t done it yet, because I’m out of town. But my intention is to do this scenario:

2 Dignoro Flat Bread 2x .75 (doubled to 1.50 each)
    3 A1 steak sauce 3x $2
    4 Mac and Cheese 1x B1g3 free ($1.33 off)
    4 Velveeta and Cheese 2x B1G1 ($1 off each)
1 Wheat Thins (Buy Ritz, get Wheat Thins Free)
    1 Ritz

    Coupons: 14.83
    OOP: 11.17

Then, I get a $5 cat and submit the $20. Overall, they pay me 13.83 or so for that stuff. :)

I think there are scenarios where you could do a lot better, but I’m trying not to bring stuff we won’t eat into the house. I have a huge donate pile, but if anyone has suggestions that bring the OOP cost down significantly, I’m willing to be swayed.

  6. Ben says:

I know it’s late for many people now but the Velveeta Shells Cup on the $10 for 10 will print out a $1 Catalina if you buy two of them. Use the bogo to make it free after Cat.

  7. Michelle cohen says:

Danimals crush cups on sale for 2/$4. there is a coupon out there for $1 off 1 danimals crush cup. If you have 2 coupons, you can bring these down to $1. for each 6 pack.
