Coupon Insert Preview: 12/13/09

coupon_cutting1

As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link!  In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50).   If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!

Check out Sunday Coupon Preview to see the coupons this week.  There should be 3 inserts this week:  2 SmartSource inserts (1 of which will be all General Mills products) and a RedPlum insert!

Don’t understand the terms or abbreviations that I use?  Be sure to read my Coupon Lingo post!

  1. Not a Green Bean Casserole lover? ;) French Fried onions go really well on Tuna Noodle casserole and Hashbrown hotdish. Plus I think there’s a chicken recipe that uses them too. Many options for the non-green bean casserole lover! Thanks for the coupon preview!!

  2. Bear says:

I never understood the appeal of green bean casseroles, either.

  3. linda says:

oh I so dispise that green bean casserole….I can eat the can of fried onions like a bag of potato chips, and love green beans, but something about that creation just doesn’t appeal to me at all!

  4. Meghan says:

I made a couple of casseroles using the leftover turkey and stuffing from Thanksgiving, threw in some frozen veggies and cream of mushroom soup, and topped with those fried onions…..yum!

  5. Colette says:

I’m new to all this. Could you please explain how coupon doubling works? Would a store — Genuardi’s, for example, double any coupon that I present to them (that does not specify that it cannot be doubled), whether it is a store or manufacturer’s coupon? Do they double only at certain days/times? Do I have to request doubling at the register? Thanks so much!
