As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link!  In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50).   If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!

Check out Sunday Coupon Previewto see the coupons this week.  There should be 2 inserts this week:  a SmartSource and a RedPlum insert!

Don’t understand the terms or abbreviations that I use?  Be sure to read my Coupon Lingo post!

I must preface this by saying I love my husband dearly, that being said, he doesn’t always listen well! Living so far away from Philly the paper costs me $2.50, I can get it at a gas station nearby, yesterday my hubbie went in and purchased it along with a local paper, grand total $4.00 for 2 papers, I think that’s a lot! Anyway, when I looked through the Philly paper the coupon inserts weren’t there!! I was livid! Not only that he didn’t take the 20 seconds it takes to flip through the paper to see if the inserts are there and also that there is a great possiblity that someone took the inserts out! I say possibily because the inserts may not have made it into this paper, it happens sometimes just an over sight, however if it is true that someone took the inserts, shame on them! They are stealing and taking from my family the benefit they wish to receive themselves. Remember, you’re not the only one who needs to save money others are struggling too and need to clip and save every bit as much.

      Julie,

I hear you! I live in VA and must go to the local Barnes & Noble for the only “big” paper we can get, the Washington Post. Anyway, the Post puts all inserts and ads in a sealed plastic bag inside the paper. Wouldn’t you know that EVERY SINGLE ONE of the copies on the newstand was ripped open!! I found some untampered with ones on the floor near the newsstand and purchased those. I told the cashier about it, but it is hard to believe that people are that petty, but some most certainly are.
