As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link! In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50). If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!
Check out Sunday Coupon Preview for the complete listing of coupons. There was originally scheduled to be a SmartSource and a RedPlum this week, but I am thinking that RedPlum switched up the schedule a bit. I have checked about 10 different websites that are reliable for getting the Previews early, and none of them have anything listed for the RedPlum….so I am going to say that, for now – there should only be a SmartSource. If anyone gets their papers early and finds that there is a RedPlum, please let me know and I will update this post! (the papers that I can get that DO have a RedPlum don’t have a Saturday edition like the Philadelphia Inquirer does…and the Inquirer no longer carries the RedPlum)
Anyway…..
Don’t understand the terms or abbreviations that I use? Be sure to read my Coupon Lingo post!
Coupons of Note
Act II Popcorn $.40/1: these go as low as $1 each
Birds Eye Steamfresh Vegetable, Pasta or Rice variety $.35/1: the non-sauce varieties go on sale for $1-$1.25 all the time
DanActive $0.75/1: these go on sale for as low as $2 (but recently they seem to be stuck at about $2.50)
Danimals $1/1: my daughter would drink an entire 6-pack of the Smoothies per day if I let her. Goes on sale for $2 fairly often.
Glade Relaxing Moments Coupons: this is a new line of candles for Glade so we should see some good deals & sales at the stores.
McCain Frozen Potato Product $0.75/1: I have seen these as low as about $2.50, making them pretty cheap after doubling.
Pert Coupons: Pert products (especially the new “for men” line) have been the subject of plenty of SCR/ECB/RR deals at Rite Aid/CVS/Walgreens
Post Cereals (2 $1/2 coupons): There have been a ton of sales on Post Cereals lately, some as low as $1.50 per box, making them as low as $1 per box after coupon
Red Baron Single-Serve Pizza $0.75/1: these go on sale for $1.99, making them $0.49 each after doubling
Schick coupons (2 $4 coupons): paired with a good deal at the drug stores, you should be able to use these coupons to get free razors (or possibly even a moneymaker)
Splenda $1/1: there is a small box of packets that can usually be found at Target for under $3
So how many copies of the paper would I buy?
If I were building a stockpile: 2-3
Now that I am in stockpile-maintenance mode: 1-3
If there turns out to not be a RedPlum this week, it’s a fairly boring week!
