Coupon Insert Preview: 8/16/09

As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link!  In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50).   If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!

Coupons of Note

A1 Steak Sauce or Marinade $2:  you should be able to turn this in to free A1 at Kmart with Super Doubles starting this Sunday. It also goes on sale for $2-$3 at most grocery stores and is part of the $25 in free groceries deal at Acme (and other Supervalu stores), helping to make that deal a moneymaker

Arm & Hammer Oral Care products $3/2:  the toothpaste is on sale 10 for $10 this week at Acme

Campbell’s soup coupons:  this is the first time that we have had Campbell’s coupons in quite some time

Daisy Sour Cream $.40:  the 8 oz size goes on sale 10 for $10 all the time

DiGiorno Flatbread Melts $.75:  these go on sale for $2.50 frequently and are also part of the $25 in free groceries deal at Acme this week

Healthy Ones Packaged Lunchmeat $.55:  the 5 oz size goes on sale for 3 for $5

Mentos Gum 2 $.55 coupons:  these go on sale 10 for $10, making them FREE after doubling

Mt. Olive product $.50:  these go on sale 10 for $10, making them FREE after doubling

Pull-Ups Training Pants $2:  use this at Kmart this week for Super Doubles

Schick Diposable Razor $3:  there is a multipack at Walmart that is under $3, making them FREE

Tide Stain Release $1:  this is pretty high-value for a Tide coupon

Viva Big Roll Package $.85:  if Superfresh has triples again soon, you should be able to use this to get paper towels for about $.14. 

Goodlife Recipe Food for Dogs or Cats $2:  Use this on the small bags at Kmart for Super Doubles

Kellogg’s Cinnabon Bars $.75:  these go on sale for $2. 

Venus Embrace or Breeze $2:  you should be able to use this to get it free to a moneymaker after Register Rewards/ExtraCare Bucks/Single Check Rebate at Walgreens/CVS/Rite Aid

SuperPretzel $.50:  these for on sale for about $1.75 all the time

Gillette Fusion Razor $2: you should be able to use this to get it free to a moneymaker after Register Rewards/ExtraCare Bucks/Single Check Rebate at Walgreens/CVS/Rite Aid

So how many copies of the paper would I buy?

If I were building a stockpile:  6-10

Now that I am in stockpile-maintenance mode:  5-8

Several of the coupons will help with the Kraft rebate/Catalina deal at Acme.  The Healthy Ones coupon translates in to super-cheap (freezable) lunchmeat and there are several coupons that will score you some free-to-super-cheap toiletries!
