As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link! In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50). If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!
Check out Sunday Coupon Preview to see the coupons this week. There should be 3 inserts this week: 1 SmartSource insert, 1 RedPlum insert and a Proctor & Gamble Insert!
Coupons of Note
Carnation Evaporated Milk $.50/2: this doesn’t expire until the end of December so we should see some good deals on it as we get more in to “baking season”
Halls $.35: we should see this on sale 10 for $10, making it $.30 after doubling
Little Debbie Chocolate Cupcakes $.75: I see these on sale for $2-$2.50, making them pretty cheap after doubling
Ore-Ida French Fries $1.50/2: as long as there is no size restriction on these, you should be able to use this on the single-serve bags, which go on sale for $1 all the time
Palmolive Rebate: full rebate form on Pure + Clear or Pure + Caring
Pepperidge Farm Cookies $.75: cheap Mint Milanos? I’m there!
SeaPak Tilapia Tenders $1: SeaPak goes on sale BOGO all the time
Weight Watchers Yogurt $.55/2: these go on sale for about $.60-$.75, making them $.05-$.20 after doubling
Aveeno coupons: Aveeeno products are part of ECB deals at CVS all the time
Bayer Coupons: Bayer is a frequent freebie after SCR/ECB/RR at Rite Aid/CVS/Walgreens. These coupons could make them a moneymaker
Hillshire Farm Deli Select Lunchmeats $1/2: hold on to this for a BOGO sale
Hot or Lean Pockets Breakfast Sandwiches $.75: these go on sale for $2, making them on $.50 after doubling
SuperPretzel $.50: these go on sale for $1.66-$2, making them cheap
Bounty Towels $.25: the Bounty Basic goes on sale for $1
Crest coupons $1 & $1/2: Crest is a frequent freebie after SCR/ECB/RR at Rite Aid/CVS/Walgreens. These coupons could make them a moneymaker. The types of toothpaste listed in the $1/2 coupon are frequently on sale 10 for $10, making them $.50 each.
Gillette Fusion Razor $4: I know that this razor is marketed mainly to men, but I absolutely LOVE this razor for me. Aside from that, the Fusion is a frequent freebie after SCR/ECB/RR at Rite Aid/CVS/Walgreens. These coupons could make them a moneymaker. It’s even been a freebie after Gift Card a few times at Target recently
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser BOGO: these are always on sale….even occasionally BOGO (meaning that you could get 2 free!)
Mr. Clean Spray FREE wyb Mr. Clean Liquid: the liquid goes on sale for as little as $1.66 (but more frequently $2)
Pantene Styler $1: Pantene is a frequent freebie or cheapie after SCR/ECB/RR at Rite Aid/CVS/Walgreens
Tide $1: use this on the $1 travel size at Target
So how many copies of the paper would I buy?
If I were building a stockpile: 4-6
Now that I am in stockpile-maintenance mode: 3-4
Despite the fact that there are 3 inserts, it’s just not that thrilling. There are a few opportunities for freebies and cheapies, but not for anything that you can’t get free or cheap on a semi-regular basis. If you are planning on doing the Kmart Super Doubles, there are a few good P&G coupons (although the rumor is that all coupons will be doubled…more on that later today!)

Ehm, Mindi. Might want to remove “as*” from the Carnation coupon.
Thanks so mych for doing this Mindi. This helps me figure out how many papers to buy.
Curse my local stores for not doubling coupons! O sorry…
it’s just so frustrating!
