Coupon Insert Preview: July 25, 2010

As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link! In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50). If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!

Check out Sunday Coupon Preview for the complete listing of coupons. There should be 2 inserts this week: a SmartSource and a RedPlum

Don’t understand the terms or abbreviations that I use? Be sure to read my Coupon Lingo post!

Coupons of Note

:: SmartSource Insert

Colgate Toothpaste, 4oz+ Save $0.50/1: Colgate goes on sale for $1 fairly frequently, making it FREE after doubled coupon

Good Earth Restaurant Favorites Dinner Kit Save $1/1: this is a fairly new product so we should see some good sales

Post Cereals, 10oz+, any 2 AND 1 Gallon Milk Save $1.50 wyb ALL 3: not too thrilled that this coupon requires the purchase of a gallon of milk….but then again, I can’t think of that many times that I have gone grocery shopping that I DIDN’T buy milk!

Post Kids Favorites pictured Cereal, 10oz+ Save $1/2: they go on sale as low as $1.50-$1.75

Schick Disposable Razor Package Save $3/1: there is a package at Walmart that is priced at $22.97. Aside from that, the drug stores are always running specials on Schick disposables.

Softsoap Liquid Hand Soap, Save $0.35/1: these are always going on sale for $1, making them only $0.30 after doubling

Yoplait Coupons: the standard ones that pretty much ensure that you never pay more than $1 for a multipack

:: REDPLUM INSERT

Cheer BrightClean Save $2/1: I’m not sure of the pricing on this (anyone know?), but it appears to be a nice one!

Kellogg’s Eggo and/or Cinnabon Frozen Products Save $1/2: they go on sale for about $1.50 all the time

L’Oreal coupons: the standard ones – nothing spectacular

Luigi’s Real Italian Ice Save $0.50/1: these go on sale for $1.67 to $2, making them cheap after doubling.

Minute Maid Frozen Novelty Save $0.75/1: these go on sale for as low as $2.50, but more frequently $3

Quaker Chewy Granola Bars Save $1.00/2: not a great coupon, but there haven’t been many for Quaker products lately

Right Guard or Dry Idea, Up to $4.49 BOGO: this should help make for a moneymaker at the drug stores

Temptations Treats for Cats Save $1.00/2: these go on sale for $1 to $1.25

Whole Fruit Fruit Bars Save $0.50/1: Whole Fruit bars are usually included in any deals on Edy’s ice cream, incluing Instant Savings and Catalina deals

So how many copies of the paper would I buy?

If I were building a stockpile: 4-6

Now that I am in stockpile-maintenance mode:3-5

It’s a not a great week, but worth my “1 paper per family member” rule
