Well – we started the bash off with a bang and we are going to finish it with one as well….with a Flip SlideHD video camera!
I got my first Flip about a year ago and just loved it (except for the fact that it took “AA” batteries and went through them like crazy). Then I got another one at the SaveUp ’09 convention and this one was much thinner and doesn’t need batteries. Charging the camera is a simple matter of plugging the camera in to my USB port. And as much as I loved it, there were only 2 things I didn’t like…it only held 30 minutes of video and the viewing screen was tiny!
Well, the Flip SlideHD takes care of that problem! Not only does it charge via the USB port (no batteries to buy), it has a 3-inch (diagonal) screen for viewing your videos. The screen is actually a touch-sensitive screen that you use to start your recording. The Flip SlideHD can take up to 4 hours (16 GB) of HD video. The LCD screen resolution is 400 x 240 and takes video at 1280 x 720. The built in software is designed to easily edit and transfer your video (or captured still photos) directly to Facebook, Myspace, and YouTube.
If you have yet to try or own a Flip camera (or if you are just looking to upgrade the one you have), you are going to LOVE it. Flip cameras are so compact that mine has a permanent spot in my pocketbook. I can take it anywhere when I want to capture a moment. It’s even smaller than my “regular” camera! It’s a top-notch video camera and I have one to give away!
