Homemade Apple Dumplings
These homemade apple dumplings are so easy to make and will fill your home with the most amazing aroma. Serve them for breakfast or dessert!
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 12 oz Mountain Dew
  • 2 Granny Smith apples
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Butter a 13x9 inch baking dish.
  3. Unroll crescent rolls and divide in to triangles
  4. Peel and core apples. Cut each apple in to 8 wedges
  5. Roll each apple piece in a crescent roll triangle and place in a prepared dish.
  6. Melt butter in a saucepan and add sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
  7. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook on low until thickened.
  8. Pour over dumplings.
  9. Carefully, pour the soda into the middle and sides of a pan, avoiding pouring onto rolls.
  10. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
