Dave Ramsey changed my life and if there is one piece of advice that you ever take away from this site, it is to check out his website, read his Total Money Makeover book, start watching his show on Fox Business News and/or enroll in Financial Peace University. It is because of what I learned from reading his book and watching his show that Brad and I were able to take control of our finances and are now completely debt-free (except for our mortgage) and build up our Emergency Savings Fund.
He is such an icon in the “Frugal Blogging World” that a bunch of us skipped an entire day of Blissdom sessions just to drive to the Financial Peace headquarters in Nashville and meet him. We are in the midst of our FPU class right now. Even though we thought we were doing things right we are finding so many ways to make positive changes with our finances. Take the class, read the book, live like no one else so that later you can live like no one else! You won’t be sorry! (Great info hope it reaches many and changes their lives too!)
