I love to bake…I REALLY love to bake. Just in case you aren’t a baker, here are the ones I would get, in the order I would get them:
Cookie Sheet Liner
Muffin Pan
Loaf Pan
Garlic Press (every kitchen should have one!)
Keep It Fresh Produce Bags (I think these are those “Green Bags”)
Note: they have 2 shipping options….1 shipping method is only $1 but will enroll you in a trial membership that you will need to remember to cancel (but if you write down the phone number when you place your order, you can submit your order, pick up the phone and cancel it via an automated line!)
The other shipping is $7.95 and has no strings attached.
Okay, I ordered my one free item, then there’s a message that says “Did You Know? You Are Eligible for Two FREEBIES Today! Come Back Now!”
So I went back in and was able to order another free item, for another $1 in shipping.
And again, I got the message “Did You Know? You Are Eligible for Two FREEBIES Today! Come Back Now!”
Did I do something wrong?
Am I taking advantage of an error in the system?
Or was I supposed to be able to do that?
Maybe I’ll get an email message that I wasn’t supposed to do that, and I can only have one item? That’s fine with me, I was just doing what I thought they meant I was entitled to do, and I only questioned it after I submitted the order.
But I went in a third time (not intending to really order, just to see if it would let me), and it let me put another free item in my bag, but did not offer the $1 shipping.
Please let me know if anyone else has had this experience, and what you think!
Wow! I don’t know what to tell you! Haven’t heard of that happening. Did you get an email yet letting you know about a glitch?
Since I didn’t hear anything by today, I’ve emailed their customer service about it and should hear back in 2-3 business days.
I just got an email back from easybakeware. They said,
“We allow our customers to place up to three orders per month for the Free Item of the Month.”
?? Whatever, you can give me as much free stuff as you want, I guess! I was able to place two orders using the $1 shipping method, the third time I would have had to pay the $7.95. This could be a great way to stock up on gifts!
And, I can confirm, cancellation is easy, it is an automated system, and only takes a minute or two.
Also, where did the picture by my name on my previous post come from??
It’s just a random picture that pops up if you comment on a post and aren’t logged in to an Open ID/WP account!
