Mindi – have you checked out Genuardi’s lately? I was just there last night and they have a sign up at their entrance that states they are doubling coupons again, not just adding until the value reaches $1. They must have gotten quite a bit of flack for that one!
I admit that I haven’t stepped foot in Genuardi’s since they changed their coupon policy, but I did notice that the ad does list the older/better coupon policy (on the “Dollar Deals” page). However, they are still only doubling 1 like-coupon…does anyone know if they are back to allowing the stacking of manufacturers coupons with Genuardi’s coupons?

I can’t promise it will work for everyone, but I stack man. coupons with Genuardi’s coupons. They do go through. It helps relieve the sting of the high prices at Genuardi’s!
I just shopped at Genuardi’s yesterday and was able to stack their coupons from the circular with my manufacturer’s coupons, but I just went over the receipt & noticed that they did not double my manufacturer’s coupon. Will have to double-check my store’s policy…
My mom has a safeway that she shops and she says that they haven’t changed to the only one double rule. And they double coupons and let you stack them. Maybe they are just trying out the new rules in some of their stores, hopefully it won’t go to well for them.
Alas! My store would not let me stack the in-store and manufacturer’s coupons , said they had a policy that I could use only one of them.
Mindi – HOT cereal deal on the Kashi sunshine! I got the free box and 1.50/1 coupons from Vocalpoint. Then, I got my free sample that I signed up for and ANOTHER set of the free box and 1.50/1 coupons! I was very surprised at that one. Think I’ve been in Genuardis once all summer, but went in for this. Here’s what I got.

3 special K blueberry
They are 3.00 each on sale, but 2.00 each after the 5.00 off wyb 5. Use 10 1.50/1 kashi coupons, 2 free kashi coupons, and 3 special k blueberry ips. The free kashi coupons scan at 3.99 (I went through a regular checkout and the cashier could not/did not adjust).
= 4.02 oop
Saved 55.83, 93%. And to think I used to think cereal was the most expensive thing on my list. Now, I won’t pay more than .50 per box (Ok, 1.00 if it’s special K. Mommy likes special K.)
There are tons of cereals on the deal with coupons (rice krispies 1.00 vocalpoint, mini wheats 1.00/1 from special coupons in boxes, lots of others).
Oh, and this Kashi cereal is one I can finally get behind. It tastes like a less sugary Captain Crunch. Really tasty, not like the twigs cereal. Sorry to whoever likes the twigs, but yuck!
