Giant of PA: More Free Kellogg’s & Keebler!

Just in case you didn’t see the comments and scenarios left in this post about the free Eggo waffles, I wanted to share with you some more deals for Giant this week!

From Bonnie:

Same deal goes for the Keebler crackers (boxes of 6-8packs). Who ever heard of unlimited crackers and waffles in the same week and with no coupons needed. I am dying! LOL

If you need pop tarts, cereal (kelloggs – apple jacks, fruit loops, frosted flakes, corn pops) or nutrigrain bars, they are part of the instant savings and the cat deal too, without coupons they are only 50 cents per box. With coupons, they are free/cheap/mm’s.

From Cindy:

Purchase #1: bought 10 packs of Keebler crackers, Cost $20, $10 after instant savings and a catalina coupon for $10 off your next printed.

Purchase #2: bought 10 packs of Eggo Waffles, cost $20, $10 after instant savings, total after using $10 catalina was 0, plus another catalina printed.

Purchase #3: bought 10 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal, cost $25, $15 after $10 instant savings, $5 after catilina, $1.25 after $3.25 in manufactures coupons and a $10 catalina printed. ( I picked up a package of cookies to cover the shortage from the manufacture coupons)

Purchase #4: bought 10 boxes of Keebler Club Crackers, cost $25, $15 after $10 instant savings, $5 after $10 catalina, plus another $10 catalina printed out.

Total Price paid for all items was $16.25, orginal cost would have been $120.99. and I still have a $10 catalina to use.

Make sure that you check out the comments in this post for more deals and scenarios!

I have gotten 50 boxes of waffles and 90 boxes of crackers free this week. If you cant find them look for the schoolbus display. I did give some to neighbors before you think i am going to start to oink lol

  2. Shannon says:

Wow- what an awesome deal! I just did the Eggo deal today and the cashier could not get over that I got 10 boxes of waffles for 5.90 (had 4 coupons), and THEN got a $10 catalina… she said she was going to get the deal for herself after her shift! LOL… I wish I had known about this deal while I was there, but I think I might be going back for it… we’re going on vacation with my in-laws and will have 4 kids in the house. I’ll be able to get free snacks and cereal for the entire week!

  3. Janice says:

Ok, I’m confused on purchase #3. Why was there shortage so cookies were needed to be bought?

    • Mindi Cherry says:

Janice – sometimes there is a fluke in the registers that, when the catalina is scanned, the tax on that amount (as well as the tax on coupons) is deducted…even if the item was not a taxable item. I have no idea why it happens, but I have found myself standing at the register with a negative balance and having to grab a candy bar to bring the total up to $0.00 (because the stores will not give you cash back)

  4. lori bart says:

don’t forget the cookies ~ rainbow chip, soft & chewy, extra chocolatey, fudge stripe, and EL Fudge all work

  5. Marissa says:

I bought 10 boxes of kelloggs cereal and 10 boxes of eggo waffles for a “profit” of about 3.75!!!

This was at MARTIN’s which is a part of Giant PA, however in times past I have tried and did not always have success with the Giant catalinas printing (skippy catalina) for some reason. But I am verifying that as of 8/3 it worked!

  6. Jeerah says:

I got 30 boxes of waffles… my freezer is packed, my kids are happy because they love these waffles , thank you Giant : )

  7. Michelle says:

I love Giant!! This week I purchased 10 boxes of cereal, 30 boxes of waffles, 10 boxes of Cheezits, 5 boxes of NutriGrain Bars and 5 packages of Keebler crackers all for a total of $8.75. I am going back tomorrow to stock up on cookies and some other snacks for vacation. This is the best deal that I have gotten since I started couponing two months ago. Is this something that happens often or was I just lucky this week?

    • Courtney says:

thanks for sharing this! How do you know what products are included in the deal? On the flyer, they have the buy 5 save 5 instantly section with 8 things listed however, nutri grain bars are not one of them. How did you know they were included? Thanks !

    • jennifer says:

Do the cheeze-its also print off the $10 catalina?

    • Jennifer says:

This is the best deal I have seen on food since I started couponing more than a year ago! :)

  8. lisa says:

I must have done something wrong. I did not get a catalina for the eggos or keebler.

    • Jennifer says:

If you did not receive the catalina, you can contact the company who runs catalina deals and ask them to send it. I beleive you have to send them your receipt. I don’t remember where the information is, but do a search and see if you can find it. I’ve had success doing this before. :)

  9. mindy says:

    Courtney:
I wondered the same thing…but if you read the fine print under one of those eight things on the flyer, it does say nutrigrain bars – it’s just in really small print.
I bought 10 nutrigrain bars and it got the $10 catalina and also the (2) $5 instant rebates. Good luck!

  10. Heather says:

Can you mix and match items? Like can i get 5 eggo waffles and 5 nutigrain bars?

  11. Mike says:

My Giant also has a large Kellogg’s cardboard setup back near the meat dept. There are brochures with coupons for $2 off milk, bread, baggies, fruit, etc. You can pair the fruit deal with the $2 Giant produce coupon and get $1 produce. Bread and baggies aren’t more than $2 so those are free, possibly with overage.

Also, gas points are before discounts (not coupons) so you can rack up 10 cents off a gallon really quick.

  12. LISA says:

are Giant and Martins cat deals the same ? i live in florida but am attempting to try and start helping my grandmother in front royal save some money using coupons — so i am tryin to figure this out (seems they are related but ???) thanks

  13. jen says:

I missed this – is the deal over?
