I am new to this couponing thing and just have a simple question regarding the Ronzoni pasta. I went to Giant today and got 10 ronzoni’s that were $1 each, I had 8 Q $1/2, I used all 8 Q, was that legal or was the girl at the self check out not payig attention?
Their official policy is that they only accept 4 like-coupons, but each store manager has the ability to tweak the policy as they see fit. The “no more than 4 like-coupons” is really to discourage shelf-clearing, so if your store doesn’t have a problem with shelf-clearers, they may have changed the registers to NOT reject the 5th coupon (they registers at my store won’t accept the 5th coupon unless the cashier manually pushes it through as a $1 off grocery item, not by scanning it)
Wait a minute….back up….
If you had 10 boxes of pasta, you should have only used 5 $1/2 coupons and the registers SHOULD have caught it.
Can you confirm that the #s of pasta boxes/coupons is correct?
When I purchased the Combos (w/ my coupon) I received a $1 Catalina from Combos!
Kid’s L’Oreal shampoo are 2 for $5 – with the RP (save 75 cents, exp 8/14) coupon, they’ll be $1.75 each
Is this a change in their policy? I was always able to use an unlimited number of coupons in the past. I did notice that sometimes the 5th coupon will give me problems. I will review their policy.
