Giant of PA Gas Deal | Up to 70 Pepsi Next 2 Liter Bottles For FREE + Overage!

Most of my regular readers know that my first love, when it comes to grocery shopping, is Acme…..but these gas deals at Giant lately are pretty hard to ignore! I got $97 in free gas at Giant on Sunday and it looks like we are going to be getting a few more free tanks of gas next week. Of course, if you are a die-hard Coca-Cola fan, this may not appeal to you, but we are a Pepsi family!

Hennyway – starting July 22, 2012, Giant will have yet another awesome Gas Deal: Save $0.30/gallon when you buy 7 and the 2-liters of Pepsi Next are included at $0.99 each. The July 22, 2012 coupon inserts will also have a Pepsi Moments To Save insert and in that insert will be a $0.55/1 Pepsi Next 2-liter coupon.

So here’s the deal (keeping in mind Giant’s coupon policy of only 4 like-coupons and only doubling the first like-coupon per transaction) NOTE that these don’t start until July 22, 2012:

:: With at least 4 copies of the July 22, 2012 Coupon Inserts

Pepsi Next 2 Liter, $0.99
Save $0.30/gallon (up to 30 gallons/$9) when you buy 7

Buy 7
Use (1) $0.55/1 Pepsi Next, 2 L 07/22/2012 Pepsi Moments to Save Insert (exp 08/11/2012) – will be doubled to make it FREE at most stores
Use (3) $0.55/1 Pepsi Next, 2 L 07/22/2012 Pepsi Moments to Save Insert (exp 08/11/2012)
Pay as low as $4.29 and save up to $9 in gas
Final price: FREE + up to $4.71 overage after coupons and Gas points

:: Only buying 1 copy of the paper this week?

Pepsi Next 2 Liter, $0.99
Save $0.30/gallon (up to 30 gallons/$9) when you buy 7

Buy 7
Use (1) $0.55/1 Pepsi Next, 2 L 07/22/2012 Pepsi Moments to Save Insert (exp 08/11/2012) – will be doubled to make it FREE
Pay $5.94 and save up to $9 in gas
Final price: FREE + up to $3.06 overage after coupons and Gas points

:: Not using ANY coupons?

Pepsi Next 2 Liter, $0.99
Save $0.30/gallon (up to 30 gallons/$9) when you buy 7

Pay $6.93 and save up to $9 in gas
Final price: FREE + up to $2.07 overage after coupons and Gas points

Don’t forget that you can do each Gas Deal 10 times. In theory (and if you need to stock up on soda for personal use or an event), you could buy 70 2-liters of Pepsi Next (don’t clear the shelves – ask for a special order), pay a MAXIMUM of $69.30 and save up to $90 in gas! Don’t have a large gas tank?  My tank is only 24 gallons, but if you have gas cans in your garage for your lawnmower, etc, you can bring those with you and fill them up at the same time!

There is still time to get a free tank of gas (like I did) buy buying Nabisco Go Packs and Hershey candy products!  You can also see all the current Giant of PA coupon matchups and deals.

  2. I am more of a Coke fan, but may not be able to pass this up!

  3. Shelly Smith via Facebook says:

can you do more than one of the same group in one transaction? Like buy 14 bottles and get $.60 off?

  4. Shelly Smith – absolutely! You can do each “Gas deal group” up to 10 times…..so you could buy 70 Pepsi Next 2-liters and save $3 off/gallon!

I’m upset. The coupons I got in the mail were 1$/2 for Pepsi Next. No free soda for me. :(

Actually – you will still get free soda!

      Buy 7 Pepsi Next, $6.93
Use 3 $1/2 Pepsi Next coupons
Pay $3.93 (+ tax) and save up to $9 in gas ($0.30/gallon x maximum of 30 gallons)
Final price: 7 FREE + up to $3 overage after coupons and gas points

      Hope this helps!

How long will 21 bottles of soda last in your home? My family would never get through that amount….

  7. My husband loves soda, so he will take a 2-liter to work and it will be gone in 2 days. My oldest son is the only one of my children who even likes soda, but he is limited to 1 8-ounce glass per day. I rarely drink soda (about 1 glass/week).

So between my husband and my son, it will last about a month or so.

This would be great, but we don’t drink soda.
