Giveaway: $35 Jiffy Lube Gift Card + Savings Book! 3 Winners!

Updated:  Ok – I get it….I’m changing the rules.  Method #1 is no longer required for entry….but it WOULD be nice if you did it! ;)

Nearly 2,400 Americans die of cardiovascular disease each day – an average death of one every 37 seconds, according to the AHA.

Jiffy Lube is now in year three of the Jiffy Lube Maintenance Partners for Life campaign to benefit the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Movement. The campaign emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy heart and a healthy vehicle, and seeks to more than $1 million to help fight heart disease.

Customers at participating Jiffy Lube service centers across the U.S. can support this cause with a donation of $3, receiving in return a Jiffy Lube Maintenance Partners for Life savings book containing heart-healthy recipes, as well as $100 in savings from Jiffy Lube.  100% of the funds will benefit local AHA chapters in the communities in which the funds are raised.  People can also donate online at www.JiffyLubeGoesRed.com – starting February 1st.  Jiffy Lube has raised $2.3 million for the cause since 2008.

You can also register for a free dress pin from Go Red for Women!

To help raise awareness for the Jiffy Lube Maintenance Partners for Life campaign, the people at Jiffy Lube have given me 3 $35 Jiffy Lube Gift Cards and 3 Maintenance Partners for Life savings books and I am giving them away.  There will be 3 winners – each winner will get a $35 Gift Card and a Savings Book.

From the ‘Car Checkup’, I learned that I really should pay more attention to my vehicle’s manufacturer’s service intervals for preventative maintenance. I don’t currently do that…we get our oil changed along with the things they check for (air filter, other fluids checked, etc), but we rarely do anything else unless something is wrong. We don’t want to spend the money, but being preventative sometimes saves money inthe long run!
