Giveaway: Romano’s Macaroni Grill Gift Basket

macaroni_grill_gift_image

Thanks to to people at General Mills and MyBlogSpark, I was able to finally sample the new Romano’s Macaroni Grill Entrees!  Last night we had the opportunity to try the Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken Pasta dish and my notorious family of picky eaters gobbled it up!  Preparation was simple; the only thing I needed to add was chicken and a little bit of butter and milk!

There are also 3 more coupons for a free box so I can try the other flavors:  Garlic & Herb Chicken Penne, Chicken Alfredo with Linguine and Chicken Marsala with Linguine.  Also included in the gift basket was a pasta spoon, a cheese grater and a nice-sized colander!

The best part?  I have 3 more of these baskets to give away and you each have up to 3 chances to enter

To enter:

Get your first entry when you leave a comment here describing your biggest struggle with preparing dinner for your family

Get a second entry when you subscribe (for free) to my feed (there is a link at the bottom of each post).  Once you have subscribed, leave a separate comment letting me know.  If you already subscribe, leave a comment telling me!

Finally, get a third entry if you have a blog or website and post about this giveaway on your site.  Leave a separate comment with a link to that post!

In the meantime, get a $1 coupon here!

That’s it!

Gift basket can be shipped only to US residents.  You have until 4/20/09 at 8:00pm (EST) to enter, at which time I will close comments and pick 3 winners!  The gift baskets will be shipped directly from MyBlogSpark!

My biggest struggle is taking time away from whatever it is I am doing to cook. It seems like just when I get into cleaning or something, we need to eat.

I’m disabled and that slows down my ability to cook, and some nights doing anything more than throwing a boxed meal together is too painful.

My biggest problem with dinner is my picky family, I love them, but my hubby won’t even eat veggies at all and it’s hard to cook for him. My daughter doesn’t mind veggies, but she’s picky too. LOL

I just put this on my twitter, does that count?

  9. Amanda says:

My biggest struggle is that no one likes the same thing! So it seems like I always have to make several different things!

My big holdup with dinner is time. I get home at 5:00 and my kids are hungary then. If I don’t plan ahead I struggle.

My biggest struggle is trying to balance my need to do schoolwork with my desire to make these huge, extravagant meals. I just don’t have the time to do everything and still be in bed at a reasonable hour. I also have trouble trying to keep under budget, and still more trouble now that I’m trying to lose a few pounds… I guess I’m just full of trouble lately!

I do love to cook, though, and am looking forward to this summer, when I have a little more time (and lots of free veggies!)

My biggest struggle is finding recipes to prepare a variety of meals with the ingredients I have so that we don’t get tired of eating the same thing over and over again.

  18. Bree Salas says:

My biggest struggle is time….my husband is a Marine Recruiter and works crazy hours…so I am on my own. Juggling different sports schedules for different kids…my own life…gets a little hectic!

  29. Amy says:

My biggest struggle is to make good-tasting healthy meals. My family would be happy eating fast food for dinner every night but I know we’ll all pay for that with health issues in the future.

  30. Tamara B. says:

My biggest struggle is getting everyone to eat the same thing at dinner. I can always count on a pasta dish served with a salad and bread sticks because that is one meal everyone loves in this house.
