I can’t even tell you how happy I am to report that My Beloved Acme Markets is no longer carrying pink slime as well!

Many of you may have heard finely textured beef referred to recently by the slang term, “pink slime”. While it’s important to remember there are no food safety concerns with products containing finely textured beef, we made this decision due to ongoing customer concerns. We are currently working with our suppliers to ensure a smooth transition to this new policy. All current beef products in our stores meet strict safety and quality standards approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
