This is the first full week that my children are out of school (we had 4 inclement weather days that had to be made up and didn’t get out until Wednesday), so it is time to think of ways to keep them occupied! Just a reminder about 3 different movie chains that are offering $1 movie programs this summer:
Regal Theatres is once again hosting a Summer Movie Express program. Admission is $1 for select rated G & PG movies at 10am on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. The Summer Movie Express will begin June 21, 2011 and ends August 17, 2011.
Carmike Theaters is offering their own Summer Kid Series. Admission is only $1 (all ages) for selected G- and PG-rated films. Carmike also offers a $4 Kid’s Concession Special: a kiddie tray with popcorn, drink, and fruit snack. Find participating theaters here.
Cinemark is offering their Summer Movie Clubhouse, with 10 weeks of films for kids, with a different movie shown each week. Pay $1 per movie at the box office, or purchase a punch card in advance and get all 10 movie offerings for $5. (All movies selected for this summer special have a G- or PG-rating.)
