Just a reminder (and very possibly new information for people who weren’t reading this site Black Friday weekend) that you can get a bunch of free batteries at Staples through December 26th!
Here’s these deets:
Between today and December 26, 2009, you can get $12.99 in Staples Rewards (free to join – sign up right at the store) when you buy a 20-pack of Duracell batteries for $12.99. Best of all? There is a limit of 2 20-packs per week! By the time Christmas rolls around, you should have plenty of free batteries!

To clarify – you will spend $12.99 out of pocket for each pack of batteries. Then, around the middle to the end of January, you will receive Staples Rewards for the total amount that you spent on these during the promotional period. These Staples Rewards can be used to purchase anything at Staples….it is not a “cash rebate” (but if you are like me and can always find plenty to buy at Staples, then it isn’t a problem. If nothing else, you can always use your Rewards to buy more printer ink and paper for printing coupons!)
My staples requires $100 of purchases during the quarter in order to get the rewards.(otherwise you lose the rewards) I have only spent $70. Does this rule apply for the batteries?
