Rite Aid: 1/11 to 1/17/09 and $5 off $25 coupon!

As a reminder, if you haven’t signed up at MyRiteAid.com, be sure to do so.  Once you sign up, they will email you a link for a $5/25 coupon

Already registered with RiteAid?  Get a $5 off $25 coupon for Rite Aid here or here (they are the same site…just in case they pull one you have 2 ways to access it)!

If you aren’t familiar with Rite Aid, corporate policy allows you to combine an in-ad Rite Aid coupon with a manufacturers coupon.  Unfortunately, Rite Aid has a habit of putting the words “Manufacturers Coupon” at the top of their in-ad coupons.  As long as the bar code starts with the letters “RC”, then it is a RITE AID coupon, not a MFR.  In most cases, you shouldn’t have a problem (especially once if you point out that the “RC” coupons are only valid at Rite Aid)

Hi Mindi.. I wanted you to know that JessicaKC nominated you for my blog’s giveaway. I’m putting some of my best Q deals in a box, called the Woo-Hoo box and giving it away to one lucky person.

I also thought you might like to know about my newest Giant secret for Q-folks. One of the Giants I shop at has the new Self Serivce kiosk at the front of the store for Giant card holders. You swipe your card or put in your number and it then gives you a scanner gun (my kids LOVE this). As you shop you scan your items. This does three GREAT things. First it keeps a running total of your bill so you know where you stand, A BIG ONE FOR ME! Also if you scan something and the price doesn’t match the flyer or sale hang tag.. I know this happens to ALL of us FAR to often… you know right away. I’ve had it happen three times already. All I did was go to customer service and let them know. Ofcourse I got all kinds of exuses why it happened. They even question if I was correct. But in the end they made the adjustment. Third, and in my opnion the best thing, as you shop it pops up with electronic “extra savings” coupons. Today I got .45 cents off the Baby Spinach I bought. I’d have happily paid the $2.99 from the price tag but with this wand I got and extra .45 off and that was great! You scan your coupons at the end and you can also enter your re-useable bags discount. Thought you’d like to know.

I am thinking of doing this deal.
$7.49 for Scott toilet paper 12-pack
    $1.99 for Kleenex with lotion

Buy 3 toilet paper at $22.47
    Buy 2 Kleenex at $3.98

    use $5/$25 coupon
use 2 $.40 off Kleenex with lotion
get $10 gift card with $25 worth of Kimberly Clark products

after coupons and gift card pay $10.65 for 3 12-pack of Scott toilet paper and two boxes of Kleenex

This is the toilet paper we use because it is a good one for septic systems and this is a great price for it!
