I’m new to this. Can you really use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO deal in the store to pay no money?

    • Mindi Cherry says:

yes – however your ability to do it may depend on what cashier you get. Some won’t do it because they don’t think it is right for you to get both free. It’s one of the reasons I like to go to younger cashiers.

But the logic behind using a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale is simple. The BOGO coupon means that the store is getting reimbursed for 1 item. The item that the coupon is paying for is the required purchase for the BOGO sale at the store.!

Mindi – what are the terms for that Rite Aid deal again?!? The one with the $25 gift card? Are you qualifying for that because of the pads? Is that right?

    • Mindi Cherry says:

Yes – it’s a “Get a $25 Gift Card wyb $50 in Johnson & Johnson products” and it doesn’t need to be all in 1 transaction. The Listerine and the BandAids also qualify. To see the complete list, click here and scroll down to SCR #160
