I bought the Kashi bars this morning and could only use one of the $1.50 off two coupons. There is a new note on the coupon that says only one coupon per entire purchase. The clerk was going to ring them up separatly but then I woldn’t have gotten the 5th box free.
1 per purchase is very different than 1 per transaction (most, if not all, coupons say “1 per purchase” on them)
You should have been able to use both coupons because each $1.50/2 covered your purchase of each 2 items.
If the coupon said “1 per transaction”, you would have only have been able to use 1 coupon….the cashier just didn’t understand the difference between a purchase and a transaction!
