I saw this posted about an hour ago and wanted to test it out myself in case the price cut on the Splenda with Fiber was a regional deal…and it worked! This deal is unadvertised…the people at Walgreens didn’t even know about it!
So here’s the deal…..Through May 15, 2011, you can get a $4 Register Reward when you purchase any 3 Splenda products
AND
There was a $3/1 Splenda coupon in the 4/17/2011 SmartSource (if you didn’t get that coupon in your inserts, there is also a $2/1 Splenda Sweetener Granulated with Fiber )
AND
The 80 ct boxes of Splenda with Fiber are on sale this week for $2.99
So here is how the deal will work:
Buy 3 Splenda with Fiber 80 ct boxes, $2.99 each
use 3 $3/1 Splenda coupons from the 4/17 SmartSource (will be adjusted down to $2.99 each)
Pay $0.00 out of pocket and get a $4 Register Reward
Final price: 3 FREE + $4 overage after coupons and RRs
Note: my store only had 1 box of the Splenda with Fiber left but the 100 ct. boxes of “Regular Splenda” were the same normal price. They ended up giving me 2 of the 100 ct boxes for the sale price. It never hurts to ask at your store if they can do the same for you!

I tried this at walgreens and they wouldn’t lower the coupon to $2.99. I got 3 boxes for $2.99 each and they would only take off 2 of my $3.00 off coupons because they said the coupon total could not exceed the product total? I did get the $4 RR though.
They absolutely SHOULD have adjusted the price of the 3rd coupon down….their Coupon Policy specifically says that they will!

I went today, got one box of Splenda…. register beeped (as I expected!). Assistant Manager said they can NOT take the coupon as it is higher then the product.
I told them their policy states that they adjust the coupon down to 2.99. She said she is not allowed to do that as she “could get fired over this”. I showed her the printed off policy which I had brought along, but she still claimed she could get fired as she was told not to do it.
Manager wasn’t in on the weekend, so I will have to wait until next week to speak to him.
Really, really frustrating and a great reminder why I don’t go to Walgreens very often anymore.
I am totally bumming…no only did my Walgreens not have any Splenda with fiber, all the regular Splenda was gone and I was there at 9am. LOL guess I am not the only one reading these sites
