Of course, you really should have read The Walking Dead: Compendium One (available for $35.54 with free Super Saver Shipping) first. If you are a fan of the show, but have never read the graphic novels, you need to know that the TV show does NOT follow the comic books exactly (for instance – remember that first time on the show when Dale saw Shane raise his gun to Rick? Well – it wasn’t Dale in the book and the person who DID see it and killed Shane right at that time), so you may be “spoiling” some parts of the show for yourself by reading the graphic novels, but you will also find yourself just waiting for parts of the comics to show up in the show.
