Please note that prices at your Wegmans may vary slightly. I am working off the ad for Collegeville, PA which is their newest store. Most of the ad is a “compare & save” chart and may not include all the sale items. I am assuming that in the coming weeks, the ads that I get will look more like the ads distributed nationally!
Wegman’s coupon policy can be found here. Please note that Wegmans will only double one like-coupon per transaction (so if you have 3 $.50 Colgate coupons and are getting 3 tubes of Colgate, only 1 of the 3 coupons will double). Wegmans does accept Internet Printable coupons, however they do not accept IPs for “free” items, including Buy One Get One Free Internet Printable coupons! Additioanally, “Final Cost values” are based on the store particiapting in “Full Doubles up to $.99″, meaning that a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50

Wegmans ads usually don’t show very many non-Wegmans brand products.
I also found out the hard way the coupon policy includes no more than 4 like coupons per day. I found some items on sale for $1.50 and I had 10 $1/1 coupons for that item, so I tried to buy all 10 of their items at once, not knowing anything about this aspect of their policy. I was chastised up and down by the line manager who said it’s clearly stated in the coupon policy (which was printed in small type and hung on the far wall behind the customer service counter). Anyway, I had to go back 4 days in a row to take advantage of all my coupons. Made me so mad and I ended up using all my coupons and buying all of their marked-down product anyway, so I don’t really understand what the point of their limit was/is. But anyway, in case you find yourself trying to use more than four of the same coupon, beware someone there might know about this part of the policy…
which Wegmans are you shopping at, because I just looked at thei oline policies and none of the stores limited you to 4 like-coupons per day….just the number that they would double and the number of FREE item coupons per day.
I wonder if this was a tweak to the store policy at your store….might want to check your store’s individual policy here: http://www.wegmans.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/FAQDetailView?storeId=10052&catalogId=10002&langId=-1&faqCategory=Coupon%2cReplacementandRefundPolicies#question_9
and call corporate if you think that they aren’t abiding by the stated policy!
