Whole Foods: Grass-fed Ground Beef for $3.99/lb (9/3/2010 Only!)

We have been switching over to grass-fed beef lately, but BOY is it expensive!

On Friday September 3, 2010, all Whole Foods Markets will have grass-fed ground beef for $3.99/lb. Compared to the prices that I am used to paying, this is about 40% off (and grass-fed meats generally don’t go on sale)

You can find more details about this sale on the Whole Foods blog.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Yes, it’s definitely a lot more expensive but I think it’s way healthier and tastes better. I always debate still whether it’s worth the money. Same thing goes for eggs, which look and taste better than the 99 cent eggs you can otherwise get. I have to say though I’ve been impressed with the Whole Foods sales of late.

    Mindi,

Thanks so much for posting info on any deals for whole/organic foods. It’s so hard to stay in the budget with the meat and dairy, especially, but I think it’s so important for our families. Every little savings helps!
