Core and slice the apples (you can also peel them if you like - I prefer leaving the peel).
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter or heat up the olive oil. Brown the pork chops 2-3 minutes on each side.
Spread the apple slices in the bottom of a large baking dish.
Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the apples.
Lay the pork chops on top of the apples.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes
