Sunday Coupon Insert Preview: January 1, 2012

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the 2012 Coupon Insert Schedule

As a reminder, the value of the coupons that you find in your newspaper may vary from the value in the provided link! In addition, all of the stores in my area double coupons up to $.99 (so a $.75 coupon has a value of $1.50). If the stores in your area don’t double or your paper is more expensive, you may not find the coupons as valuable as I do!

Check out Sunday Coupon Preview for the complete listing of coupons. There should be 4 to 5 inserts this week: a Proctor & Gamble insert, 2 SmartSource inserts and a Redplum insert. There is also reported to be a 2nd Redplum insert that will be regional.

Campbell’s $0.50/2 Healthy Request Chunk or Select Harvest soups: now that the weather is getting colder, we should see some nice deals on soups!

Fiber One $0.75/1 cereal: goes on sale for $2 or less all the time, making it just $0.50 after doubled coupon

Finish $2.15/1 Quantum 25ct+ Powerball or Gelpacs: I can’t believe this coupon is back! Last year this coupon was a little higher-value, but the best thing is that I used it to SERIOUSLY stock up on dishwashing detergent!

Healthy Choice $0.75/2 frozen cafe steamers: January is the month for great sales in low-cal foods. This coupon should come in handy

Pepsi $2.00/2 multi-pack plastic bottles or 7.5oz 8pk mini cans of Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Sierra Mist: soda coupons are rare – grab them when you can!

Wholly Guacamole $1.00/1 product: now the greatest coupon, but I just love this stuff!

Atkins coupons: we should see plenty of sales on Atkins as people look to start their diets in the new year

Carnation $1.00/1 Breakfast Essentials product: they don’t put out many coupons!

Softsoap $0.40/1 liquid hand soap 8oz+: goes on sale for $1 all the time, making it super-cheap after doubled coupon

Crest $0.75/1 toothpaste 4oz or larger excludes cavity, baking soda and tarter: goes on sale for $2 or less all the time, making it super-cheap at the Drug Stores

Pantene $3.00/2: use this coupon to get it for $1 each at Rite Aid next week!

Tide $2.00/1: Just a sweet high-value coupon!

So how many copies of the paper would I buy?

Now that I am in stockpile-maintenance mode: 4-6

Rite Aid 2012 Resolution Rewards – Get a $20 +UP Reward When You Buy $100

Starting January 1, 2012 and continuing through January 28, 2012, Rite Aid will be running their Resolution Rewards program. With Resolution Rewards, you will get a $20 +UP Reward when you buy $100 in participating products.

From the people at Rite Aid:

To participate, members of the free wellness+ loyalty program can look for the red “Buy & $ave” symbol on store shelves and in weekly circular advertisements, including an expanded 16-page circular ad in newspapers nationwide Jan. 1 and online. For full list of participating products, visit www.riteaid.com. Once wellness+ members spend $100 on qualifying products, they will receive $20 +UP Reward on the bottom of the register receipt to be used like cash in Rite Aid stores, see www.riteaid.com for details on +UP Rewards.

I assume that the list will be available on the Rite Aid website on January 1, 2012. In the meantime, look for the “Buy & Save” in the ads to see what products are participating!
