The past few days: Cliff Notes version

    by Mindi Cherry

    FacebookPinEmail

    1.  hack, hack, cough cough, hack, hack, double-over-and-cough-so-hard-you-pee-your-pants, hack, hack.  Repeat for 3 days.

    2.  Steal children's Albuterol and Pulmicort and nebulize self in an effort to reacquire ability to breathe.  Suffer further indignity as the only equipment for nebulizer is not only a child-size mask, but also has rhinoceros horns on it. (there will be no pictures of this)

    3.  Despite not being able to walk up a flight of steps without getting winded, still show up to Musical Practice and continue to try & teach 17 6-7 year-olds their dance routine.  Leave portion of lung on gym floor.  Soothe self later at home with an old Kentucky remedy (that would be Jack & Coke)

    4.  Realize that, as president of the club, you can't blow off the New Member Social.  Show up and try not to kill newest Board Member who has been pissing you off.  Explain once again to another member that you are a vegetarian, not a vegan and as such CAN eat that half-muffin made with eggs without feeling like you are making baby chicks weep.

    5.  Start to feel better when you stop at CVS on the way home and walk out with just over $46 worth of product while paying only $0.72.

    6.  Wake up this morning feeling much better.  Still coughing, but at least it doesn't hurt to just breathe.  Start to catch up on laundry.  Catch up on blog comments.  Write a stupid "cliff notes" post.  Note that page views have fallen by 50%.  Refuse to give a shit.

    7.  Visit Wawa after picking up youngest son from pre-school.  Obtain new fodder for a blog post for later today (that chick never fails to disappoint!)

OMG! I *so* can not wait to read that WaWa post! You should post a map to the store so that those of us who are close enough might share in your fun, LOL! Can you imagine if people started going in there asking for the clerk that Mindi made cry?!?!

Gad! Glad to hear you're feeling better. After that #7 teaser, I will be back.
