Remember the post where I talked about surveys?
Well, there are a few others that I do as well. I started about 4-6 weeks ago and for the first two weeks it seemed as if all the surveys were pretty lame. I kept getting sent surveys for things that I wasn't interested in, or I didn't qualify for the survey at all. I stuck it out because "Hey - I'm just a stay-at-home-mom with 3 kids who are in too many activities and have a house to clean! I have LOADS of free time!". I don't know why I kept doing them, but I did.
Then about 3 weeks ago, things changed. I started getting surveys about things I really cared about (food, children's products, etc) and more of those surveys ended with "If we sent you some product, would you be willing to try & review it?". This week I diapered my daughter with free Pampers, fed my family free rice side dishes, 2 different kind of free snacks and 1 kind of cereal and I am waiting for my free hair color (in the exact brand and shade that I already use)to take care of my roots. Oh - and I am also waiting for Teddy Graham's answer to Chex Mix to come (oh - and FYI - with the exception of the rice, it has been a good size quantity...a weeks worth of Pampers, a 6-pack of 100-calorie packs, 5 servings of cereal, etc). This Wednesday I am participating in an online interactive survey that should take about an hour and pays $30
So here are some survey companies you might want to try, if you are looking for some fun, some swag and/or some money (I'm still waiting for that BMW survey!)
Another one that I have been happy with is SurveySpot. They generally don't pay that much, but it is the one that hooked me up with the $30 one for this week and I know that at least one of my shipments came from them!
Lastly, there is BzzAgent. I started with them just about a week ago and they already sent me the invitation to the Teddy Grahams trial. Once I receive and test the Teddy Grahams, you will likely see a post on here reporting the "Bzz" on the product (it's a whole word-of-mouth thing that uses some confusing lingo that I am still trying to figure out. All I know is that everyone says it is a good company and I'm getting free Teddy Grahams in the mail!)
If you do sign up for any of them, give them a few weeks and keep filling out the surveys as they come. I have a feeling they save the "good ones" until after they see if you are going to stick with it (and each survey allows them to profile you a bit more to send you future surveys)
Oh - and one final thing: with the exception in InBox Dollars, these are companies that send surveys to you. Aside from the initial profile surveys, they aren't sites where you can log on and take your pick of 500 surveys, each which take 15 minutes and pay a whopping $.25. It isn't like <site that shall remain nameless because I don't want to get sued> that advertises that they are a "survey site" but in reality turn out to be just an "Email Mining" company where after 2 weeks with them the spam gets so bad that you have to get a new email address. MySurvey, SurveySpot, Opinion Outpost and BzzAgent have only sent me an email when there was a paying survey to be completed.

Hmmm - I have been very suspicious of this, but it is sounding like it might be worth our while to try it out. Thanks Min!
