With both of my parents being from Indiana and most of my extended family still living there (and an uncle who used to race sprint cars and still builds them and serves as a mentor to new drivers), this race is as much a part of my Memorial Day weekend as corn-on-the-cob and Yeungling.
And of course, nobody can sing "Back Home Again In Indiana" like Jim Nabors. It brings a tear to my mother's eye every time!

Maria: If I were to flash my boobs, it would be at my kids (and the hermit crab), since I am sitting in my living room watching it. One of these years I'll get tickets and get to see it
Meg: No Yeungling before 5:30pm. It's a rule (with many exceptions, but not when I am home with just my kids....Hubby is working!)
Ok - and it's lap 132 and could Danica Patrick just stop whining? I know that having problems with your car is upsetting, but you're in the Indy 500! Stop sounding like such a fucking GIRL!

They ALL whine when they have problems with their cars - that is not a girl-only thing, that's for sure!
