Peaches are plentiful right now and just simply delicious. There are few things that I like more in the summer than the taste of some fresh peach pie!
In a few weeks, I will make my annual trip to my dad's house at the New Jersey shore and I will pass plenty of roadside stands selling peaches. Later this summer, we will head to visit my mother-in-law in Georgia, home of the Georgia Peach! Of course, for me, it is just easier to head to the local farmers market and buy a bushel of peaches (rather than transport them home on a 3-14 hour ride). I will bring them home and freeze them (see the link below for the best way to freeze peaches) and then pull them out all year long for recipes!
