Ok - all together now.....
"Stop bitching about your husband who is doing a great job installing new hardwood floors and stairs and in the process saving you thousands of dollars. "
Yeah - but have you seen the dust? See those picture frames on the wall? They are all covered with about an inch of sawdust. See that area he is working on? Those are the brand new floors that he installed 2 weeks ago and are now getting sawdust ground in to them. Does the picture look a little fuzzy? That's the general haze of sawdust in the air. Oh - and having your home smell like a lumbermill is NOT an aphrodisiac!
But he knows......I didn't even say a word before he said "Don't worry - I'll clean it up". Eh - as long as it is all done in time for "Lost" tonight.....it's the season premiere, baby!

You mean the sawdust smell doesn't turn you on? hee hee!!!!
I love having all the pictures on the staircase wall. That's what we've done too. My Grandmother's house had the photos from ceiling to floor. I don't even know HOW they got up to reach to the top.

We are getting hardwood floors and are thinking about installing them ourselves. Now, I don't know... It seems like it would be really time consuming.

That fine white dust gets everywhere, ugh. We lived through a 14 month remodel including hardwood floor installation. My Hoover Windtunnel got a workout.
