    Chocolate Chip Granola Bars

    Thanks to long-time bloggy and Facebook friend Jeannie for this recipe!

    INGREDIENTS

    4-½ cups rolled oats

    1 cup all-purpose flour

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    ⅔ cup butter, melted

    ½ cup honey

    ⅓ cup packed brown sugar

    1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

    DIRECTIONS

    1) Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease one 9 x 13 inch pan.

    2) In a large mixing bowl combine the oats, flour, baking soda, vanilla, melted butter, honey and brown sugar. Stir in the chocolate chips (or whatever else you want to use instead).

    3) Press mixture firmly into the prepared pan. Bake for 18-22 minutes (we convect bake for 20) or until golden brown. Let Cool for 15 minutes, then cut with pizza cutter. WAIT for bars to cool completely before removing or serving!!

    Makes 24 bars...

      Thanks for sharing these, Mindi They really are delicious! Sometimes a little crumbly but ALWAYS yummy... Wish I could figure out how to make them Gluten Free and have them still taste good! 🙂
