Lunch: sandwiches packed and eaten before entering the Park,
Treats for the kids and dinner at the park: budgeted for and money set aside by not spending on other things recently.
Going to an expensive Theme Park, not swiping a debit or credit card all day and still staying completely within the family budget: Priceless!
Thanks to the deals worked at Giant, we spent the entire day at Hershey Park yesterday. The kids had a ball! Unfortunately, I made a poor shoe choice for the day and not only are my feet killing me, but they have the most bizzare tan lines ever! Brad was hoping to go on a few more thrill rides, but since 3 of the 5 of us were too short for them and the lines for the best rides were over an hour long, we stuck to the water park area and rides that the kids could enjoy.
But the kids had a great time and we spent very little money!

i'm glad you had such a good time! yes, wearing the proper shoes is a must when going to a theme park all day. we tend to find that out the hard way haha. sounds like a great time, though, and a frugal one at that 🙂
