So The Queen loves to dance. So do I. After dinner Brad usually takes the boys up for their bath while I do the dinner dishes and she does her dishes in her play kitchen. And since she isn't old enough to scream "BUT I WANNA PLAY LEGO STAR WARS!", I can crank up the tunes and dance around the kitchen.
Normally she just looks at me as if to say "I am SO making you drop me off a block from school when I am older", but last night a song came on. She squealed and came running over to me with her arms outstretched. I picked her up and we started dancing together.
We had a ball. Until......I realized something.
See, this wasn't the first time that she had squealed like that and wanted me to pick her up to dance. It has happened before.....at least four other times....and always with the same song.
The song? "Dancing Queen" by ABBA.
I'm fairly certain that can be considered child abuse.

Only in some countries (would dancing to ABBA with your child be considered child abuse.) 🙂

Is one of those countries America?
Perhaps not....but what about if I start getting her interested in Air Supply? I think that my husband would be ready to call CPS then!
