The neighborhood is all abuzz...
It seems a bandit rode through our neighborhood last night, defiling all of our homes. This person must be found, stopped and hung by his/her entrails. At least 6 houses on our street, including my own, were "hit".
Spray paint? That would have been preferable
Stolen cars? I only wish!
Toilet Paper attacks? This person is much more diabolical than that!
It was this (please, this photo is not for the squeamish):

I know - it's horrible. Somebody went through and deposited their trash in other people's cans next to their homes (and I don't care if they are CVS bags - it wasn't me!)
And while everyone is wringing their hands and wondering what can be done to stop such further "incidents", I opened one of the bags....and I know who the offender is.
And I'm not telling.

Allison
Wow, that is so Wysteria Lane-ish.
Darla
Oh crap! What a pickle you're in.
Daisy
Woah! OPG... (That's Other People's Garbage) The most heinous of crimes!
And aren't YOU just Miss CSI!?!
What are you going to do with the information?
Extortion?
Bribery?
Randomability
We've had someone leave a cakebox with papers in our garbage once before. I told hubby, well, at least they were kind enough to put it IN the garbage can and not in the yard.

Allison: yes - it is clear taht we have WAY too much time on our hands out here.
Darla & Daisy: the offender is GoodFriendMommy (as opposed to BFM). How do I know this? Because one of the bags had the school calendar for her daughter's Hebrew school in it and GFM is one of about 4 Jewish families in the entire town. And her house went on the market this week and she had an Open House yesterday and she has more clutter than I have ever seen in one home (although not any more - it's all in my trash can!. What am I going to do? Laugh at how stupid everyone is to get all worked up over this "blatant violation of our properties!"
Randomability: I actually don't even care. Well, I probably would have cared if it was a stranger...but even then I wouldn't care as long as my trash was already out to the curb. What pissed everyone off in this instance was that now they had to lug not only their own trash, but "the bandit's" trash from the side of the house to the curb this morning. It was kind of rude of GFM to do it, but the neighbors were STILL talking about it at the bus stop this morning. Now it's comical!
Catherinette
MY GOD! How can such a horrible person exist? I hope they catch the bastard so you can sleep without fear. Good luck to you.
Randomability
Ahhhh.... Gotcha! I was thinking that only one of the bags was the offender, not the entire CAN! Wow!! Yeah. That's rude!
