Super Tuesday - The day Ann Coulter's head finally explodes?

    by Mindi Cherry

    FacebookPinEmail

Yep - this is me getting political.

In 2000, I was a McCain-iac. Alas, I live in Pennsylvania so by the time our primaries rolled around Karl Rove "unnamed sources" had destroyed McCain in South Carolina with the "little black baby" rumors and I never got a chance to vote for my candidate.  I do have some issues with him.  After what the Bush Camp "unnamed sources" did to him, I can't believe that he stumped for Bush in 2004.  His going to Liberty University and effectively blowing Jerry Falwell after calling Falwell an "agent of intolerance" (which he was) always bothered me.  Of course, his anti-legal-abortion stance bothers me as well.  But all in all, he is a candidate that I can get behind.  What's that saying?  "A person you agree with 80% of the time is your friend".  In all likelihood, he WILL be the Republican candidate in November.

So it's funny to watch blowhards/SkankyHo-Bitches like Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and Glenn Beck vilify McCain for not being "conservative enough".  What they don't understand is that McCain IS a conservative.  He just isn't "A Conservative".

    What's the difference?

"a conservative" believes in limited government (especially in our daily lives), limited taxation, a very modest amount of government-funded social services and a balanced budget

"A Conservative" believes that if we could just get some more state-sponsored prayer in schools, some bible-based medical care for women and a Leviticus-based set of laws to deal with those fags.....well then we would be hunkey-dorey.  Oh yeah - and we need get rid of those Mes'cins too...they are taking away jobs from the millions of Americans who are lining up to clean toilets for $1.50 an hour!

If McCain wins the nomination, two good things will happen.  The first is that Coulter's head will explode...or at least she will becomes so batshit crazy that she will be relegated to Fred Phelps status

The second is that it will end the Religious Right's stranglehold on the Republican Party after 14 years.  In 1994 they boasted about how they finally earned "a seat at the table" (and they did deserve "a seat"...but so do the Log Cabin Republicans and Pro-Choice Republicans.  Fairness sucks, doesn't it?).

The problem is that they never DID learn any table manners.  They need to be put back at the kids table until they do.

I've missed sane Republicans for years now. It's nice to meet one in the blogosphere. 🙂 And do you think Fox "News" will show it (did you hear that ROVE is going to be on there now?) if Ann's head explodes?

I'm a liberal. And I think Ann Coulter is the devil. But my husband is a conservative. He likes to keep the money he works for, he says. *lol*

Ann Coulter thinks about dead people when she's making love.

Ann Coulter said she would vote for Clinton over McCain. She shouldn't have been more careful about saying that. If it were between Clinton and McCain I would probably abstain or write in a vote for Paul. I don't know that much about Ann Coulter or if people even respect her opinion. But, anyway, this post on Clinton you all may find interesting:

Whew! Been busy and have lots of comments to catch up on!

Jersey - there are sane Republicans everywhere, just not in the leadership of the Republican party or on the TV/Radio talk shows. It’s just a shame that most of them have been driven from the Congress & govt. by the “true believers” (Whitman, Wilson, Weld, Bradley, etc).

Maria: I’m liberal on some issues (mostly social) and very conservative on others (mostly fiscal) and moderate where the two overlap.

Shimmy: I have no doubt that Ann Coulter thinks about dead people…namely Ronald Reagan. I wouldn’t be shocked if she has a blow-up sex doll with his face on it (although if it is anatomically correct, I would hope it is a MUCH younger Reagan)

Fighting - interesting. I’m not a huge Hillary fan anyway, but I will give the article a good reading!

I so completely agree with you on the issue of the far right wing, particularly the religious right, hijacking the Republican party. It's gotten to the point where there's no one I feel good about voting for, where I feel embarrassed to admit that I'm a Republican. But no way in hell am I a Democrat either.

It's amazing what these supposed "True Americans" are saying about John McCain. No matter what he's done wrong, he still deserves a certain amount of respect. He's a hero, he deserves better. And I love that he keeps talking about cutting the budget. Pork, pork, pork! Finally!
