Ok - so I may be one of the only people in the world who doesn't watch The Office, but I am a big fan of Steve Carrell. I've been a Jon Stewart/Daily Show fan for years and just last night Steve was on The Daily Show and they were hilarious...and it reminded me how much I love the deadpan humor of Steve Carrell.
And then there is Tina Fey. Without disclosing my political views, you have to agree that her impersonation of Sarah Palin is dead-on accurate and funny as H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks.
So the two of them being in the Date Night Movie? In the words of my 6-year old: Boo-Yah! Oh - and did I mention that Mark Wahlberg is in it? Yum! With that cast, it's a movie that I will be dragging my husband to see (he likes action movies). Why? Because the premise of the movie is one that is totally up my alley and it looks as funny as...well...you know
And here’s the thing about date nights: movies sometimes spark more than just laughter. They open the door to conversations about fantasies, kinks, and playful “what ifs” that can add a whole new flavor to your relationship. These little progressions—from giggling at a comedy to holding hands in the car, to maybe exploring deeper intimacy at home—are how sparks keep flying even after years together.
Some couples even take inspiration further, checking out modern OnlyFans where creators share their own takes on love, passion, and connection. It’s kind of wild how the digital age has redefined romance, but in the middle of it all, pleazeme remains a place that bridges entertainment with real conversation about what couples actually crave. Date night, after all, is more than a ticket stub—it’s fuel for the story you’re writing together.
In “Date Night,” which opens Friday, a bored suburban couple played by Steve Carell and Tina Fey go on their weekly dinner date and find themselves thrown into a night of intrigue: there’s breaking and entering, a car chase, a shootout and a showdown with an underworld boss at a strip club. Husband and wife come out of the adventure with some scratches and also with their ardor renewed.
(just watch the video if you don't believe me)!
Lucky for me, my birthday is this weekend (it releases April 9, 2010), so getting my husband to take me to a movie called "Date Night" is a no-brainer (heh-heh!).
