Sounds good! One question: do you use artificial Bacon Bits or the real shredded bacon? Thanks!

I use artificial Bacon Bits....I haven't tried it with real bacon yet, but I would think that unless you fried the bacon super crisp and ate/served the whole batch the same day, that the real bacon would get pretty soggy in the dip (the recipe makes quite a bit of dip)

Shannon - it IS rich! Next time you make it, try making it with light cream cheese and light sour cream (NOT Fat free, just reduced fat). It makes it a bit lighter.

Did you try it with Doritos?

Yes with Doritos.. 🙂 They loved it - and I tried it again last night, it was better after it sat in the fridge overnight. My husband polished it off last night at some point, because the empty dish was in the sink!!!
