Before You Throw Away Your Expired Coupons...

    by Mindi Cherry

    FacebookPinEmail

It's the first of the month which means that it is time to go through whatever coupon organization method you use and pull out the expired coupons.

But WAIT!  Before you toss them in the recycling bin....

Many people don't know that military families living overseas can use those expired coupons on base for their food shopping.  The Krazy Coupon Lady has a program to ship expired coupons to those men and women who put their lives on the line to secure our freedoms!

Check out all the details of the program in this post at Krazy Coupon Lady!

i also recommend checking with your local schools. my sister works for a school that has a ROTC program. they collect the coupons also and mail them to the appropriate places.
      this is a great idea.

I just found this out right after Christmas- I have a friend whose husband is stationed in Germany. Once I found that out, I sent her a whole box of expired coupons (print out ones too!) for her to use/distribute. I'm now saving any expired coupons and sending them her way!

Thanks for posting this, Mindy. I've been sending expireds to OCP for over a year now, from the coupon box at my work and my son's school. Have sent over $150,000 worth of coupons to date!
