I hate cleaning...hate it with a white-hot passion. I have friends who, when I walk in to their house, there isn't a thing on the kitchen counters, not a speck of dust in sight and certainly no toys strewn in the family room.
I’ve come to the realization that I am never going to be one of those people. Life’s too short to spend hours scrubbing floors or endlessly organizing closets. That’s why I’m all about bringing in the professionals. A service like Capable Clean understands that not everyone has the time—or patience—to keep their homes looking spotless. They handle the dirty work, so you can focus on more important things, like enjoying your free time without stressing over never-ending chores.
If you’re like me and cleaning isn’t your favorite pastime, then investing in a luxury cleaning service might just be the solution you need. A premium service not only takes the burden off your shoulders but also elevates your home environment to a level of cleanliness that’s simply unattainable through regular efforts.
Imagine walking into your home after a thorough cleaning session by Sparkle Squad Co., where every surface gleams, and the air feels fresher. These professionals are equipped with high-quality tools and eco-friendly products that ensure your space is not just clean but also safe for you and your family. They understand the nuances of luxury living, delivering meticulous attention to detail and customized services that cater to your specific needs.
Absolutely! There’s no denying that a clean home contributes significantly to our well-being. It’s not just about aesthetics; a well-maintained living space promotes a sense of calm and order in our lives. While some might relish the process of cleaning, many find it to be a time-consuming chore. That’s why bringing in the professionals can be a game-changer.
When it comes to finding a cleaning service that truly understands your needs, Puget Sound Cleaners is a standout choice. Their expertise and dedication to providing top-notch service mean you can trust them to handle the heavy lifting. Whether it’s a deep clean or regular upkeep, they take the stress out of maintaining your home, giving you more freedom to focus on the things you love.
That is SO not my house!
But somewhere between The Immaculate Home and The Hovel lies my house, and I have come up with a few cleaning shortcuts that can make keeping your house presentable much easier and seem less overwhelming:
1. Buy cleaning products in multiples. If there is a bottle of Windex and a roll of paper towels under every sink in the house, it is much easier to maintain an area, rather than having to traipse through the house looking for your cleaning supplies when you notice that your children aren't as clean in their bathroom as they should be!
2. And while you're at it, find a good all-purpose cleaner that you love. I use Lysol Anti-Bacterial Kitchen Cleaner to clean both my kitchen and my bathrooms. The way I look at it, if it makes my counters clean enough to eat off of, it certainly makes my toilets clean enough to....well, you know!
3. Clean your shower while you are IN the shower: we have a stall shower in our bathroom and one of the biggest problems with cleaning the tile walls is that I can't do it without getting soaking wet. One day I solved that problem by bringing a scrub brush & the SoftScrub in with me. Now I simply scrub the shower while my conditioner is soaking in to my hair.
4. Do your laundry every single day: Sound strange? I know it does, but it really makes a difference. Unless you are one of those people who actually enjoys folding laundry, it is best to do it a little bit at a time so you aren't suddenly faced with a mountain of laundry to do. Do your towels one day, sheets the next, whites the following day, and so on.... (of course, if you do not have a washer and dryer in your home, ignore this one because going to a laundromat every day? Nobody wants to do that!)
5. Split your cleaning up during the week. It will go a long ways towards preserving your sanity if you do your bathrooms on Monday, the bedrooms on Wednesdays and the kitchen on Fridays, etc.
6. Wash your towels every few days rather than every day. One thing that I have never understood was the logic of washing towels after every shower or bath. The way I figure it, you are as clean as you are going to be the entire day and you are just blotting the water off of you (don't rub - it dries your skin!). Simply hang the towels to dry and use them another day! Not only will you save yourself from more loads of laundry, you will be saving the water and electricity/gas to wash them and the wear and tear on your towels!
7. If your budget permits and you have hard water, invest in a water softener: How can you tell if you have hard water? It's when you always seem to have water spots after the dishwasher runs or you get the spots on the shower door that only LimeAway can remove. Or your skin gets excessively dry in the winter. Or it is only a few days after cleaning before the toilet bowls start getting rings in them. We bought a very inexpensive water softener 10 years ago. Don't ask me how they work...all I know is that when my toilet starts to get a ring it means I am out of salt in the softener!
What are some of your favorite cleaning shortcuts?

You can drop a denture tablet or two in the toilet. It cleans and sanitizes. Plus, no harsh chemicals.
