You know, I get quite a few emails from people and companies asking me to review their products. Many of them, I just won't do because they don't fit in with the theme of this site (seriously - as much as I would love to get the free $75 hand cream, this is a frugal site and agreeing to do those kinds of reviews would make me nothing more than a product whore)
But there is one company that I never mind doing reviews for....Yoplait. Wanna know why? Because I would be buying their products even if they didn't ask me to try them! When they emailed me and asked me to try their new flavors, of course I said yes (I mean, seriously - I'm already pimping them in a magazine...why not some more on here?)!
So there are two new Yoplait Light Thick & Creamy flavors that just hit the store last week: Cherry Cobbler and Cinnamon Roll. Both are just 100 calories with 0 grams of fat!
Cherry Cobbler: A smooth, comforting mix of tangy cherries and sweet buttermilk biscuit topping
Cinnamon Roll: Indulgent and rich with swirls of cinnamon-sweet flavor
My impressions: Both were delicious, but the Cinnamon Roll was the big one for me. As I have mentioned before, I like to put yogurt in the freezer for about 2 hours and it is just like eating ice cream! I decided to try something a bit different with the Cinnamon Roll.
I chopped up an apple (I used a Granny Smith, but a McIntosh would work very well) and put it in the microwave for about a minute until the apple was hot & soft. Then I spooned the slightly frozen Cinnamon Roll yogurt over the top. YUM!!! It was like eating a baked apple with ice cream!

I think you have the right idea about reviewing and promoting only those products you feel good about. After all, that's what makes the blogosphere so special - we can trust each other because it's not all about money. We want to hear from people who become our friends - and that's different from a corporate machine. I think people can sniff out bloggers who are true to their integrity, such as yours. Thanks!
