Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up about something!
Last week, I switched hosting companies because I had outgrown my previous host. On the recommendation of several other "frugal bloggers", I switched hosting from "shared hosting" (think GoDaddy, BlueHost, etc) to a VPS. Hopefully you have noticed faster loading of the pages and less downtime.
Unfortunately, my new host has become so popular that he needs to to some rearranging himself to continue to bring you uninterrupted service and faster load times. He sent me an email with all sorts of technical terms that I don't understand, but I am fairly sure that is has something to do with a Flux Capacitor. (yes - I'm old - I'm referencing Back to the Future movies!)
This maintenance is scheduled to start at 1:30pm EST on 3/22/10. It might take 20 minutes, or it might take an hour. But if the site is down..don't worry!
(and FYI - many of your other favorite "deal/frugal blogs" are hosted by the same company - they will be down as well! But the no-more-than-1 hour inconvenience is worth it in order for all of us to continue to provide you with quality service!)
Thanks for your patience!
