      I couldn't agree more! I have felt the same way, and that article summed it up. I think people need to get back to reality (instead of spending above one's means) and enjoy simple things instead of feeling like everything fun should cost money, or entail leaving the house, etc.

      That was excellent! I am voluntarily giving up my childcare job at the end of the school year. Many many people think I am crazy to do "that" in "this economy" but I really want to get back to basics and spend more time with MY kids. I will need to trim the fat from my budget too - in order to be home without an income again. But there is something so good and refreshing about doing that.

      Sure, I love my income - but do I really like eating fast food twice a week? No way! I look forward to being home with my family - despite the lack of income!!!!
