40 Birthday Freebies

I turn 40 years old this Saturday and in honor of that, here is a list of 40 of the best Birthday Freebies (most of which are in the Philadelphia-area, as well as nationwide!)

The days of "walk-in-freebies" are mostly over.  You need to sign up with these companies in order to get your birthday freebie.  However, you want to make sure that they don't get lost in the shuffle in your "regular freebie email".  Most of these companies won't send you more than an email a month, you might want to create a special "Birthday Freebie Email Address" to sign up for these!

Retail/Shopping Freebies

1.  Sephora:  the gift rotates, (right now it is a set of 3 Lip Glosses) and when you sign up for the Beauty Insider, you get info on in-store freebies for BI-members only!

2.  DSW Shoes:  Sign up for the DSW Rewards program and get a $10 off $10 coupon on your birthday!

3. DisneyWorld or DisneyLand:  free admission to the park on your birthday in 2009

4.  Toys R Us:  plenty of coupons and usually a small gift card each year (don't forget to sign up all of your children!)

5.  The Body Shop: Get a free Love Your Body Card (costs $10 and gives you 10% off all your purchases).  If you already have a Love Your Body Card, make sure it is registered because they will send you coupons for up to $10 in free items

Food/Dining

6.  California Tortilla:  Register your Burrito Elito Card and make sure you include your birthday when you do.  They just threw a free burrito on my card for my birthday ($8 value)

7.   Baskin Robbins:  Get a free 2.5 oz scoop on your birthday

8.  Bruster's Ice Cream:  Get a free ice cream on your birthday

9.  Red Robin:  get a free burger on your birthday

10. Bucca di Beppo:  Get a free dessert on your birthday

11. Old Country Buffet:  Get a free Buffet with purchase on your birthday

12.  Dairy Queen:  Get a Blizzard BOGO coupon just for signing up and a free Blizzard on your birthday

13. Cold Stone Creamery:  Get a free ice cream creation on your birthday

14. Texas Roadhouse:  Become a Texas Roadie and get a free dessert on your birthday

15. Rock Bottom:  Join the Mug Club and get a free appetizer on your birthday

16.  TGI Fridays:  Get a free appetizer on your birthday and another free appetizer or dessert just for signing up

17.  Black Angus Steakhouse:  Get a free steak dinner on your birthday and a free dessert just for signing up

18.  Arby's:  free food on your birthday (it changes) and a coupon just for signing up!

19. Macaroni Grill:  join the Mac Pack (bottom left hand of the page) and get a free dessert on your birthday

20.  Memphis Barbecue:  Join the Blue Ribbon Club and get a free rack of ribs and dessert on your birthday!

21.  Austin Grill:  get a free meal on your birthday when you register for their eClub

22.  Applebee's:  Get a free dessert (and song) on your birthday

23. Tony Romas:  get a free dinner on your birthday

24.  Red Lobster:  Join the Club and they will email you a surprise on your birthday

25.  The Melting Pot:  get a free chocolate fondue on your birthday when you join Club Fondue.

26.  Caribou Coffee:  create an account and be sure to include your birthday.  They will email you a coupon for a free coffee

27.  Friendly's:  join the birthday club and get a free 3-scoop sundae just for signing up and more free food on your birthday!

28.  Houlihan's:  Get a free entree on your birthday (actually - I hear that you get a coupon that you have 2 weeks surrounding your birthday to use).  Get a free appetizer just for signing up.

29.  Qdoba Mexican Grill:  Buy One Get One coupon for your birthday (another one that is good for 2 weeks) and free chips & salsa just for signing up!

30.  Moe's Southwest Grill:  get a free burrito on your birthday

For Kids

31.  California Pizza Kitchen:  Sign your children up for the CPKids club and they will email you a coupon for a free kids meal during their birthday month
