I hate this thing. I really really hate it. I hate it with a passion usually only reserved for cell phones.
It's bad enough that it seems to have turned my kids in to zombies. They only get to play for 1 hour per day. But if they aren't playing it, they are asking if they can play it (Prince #2 woke up this morning and the first words out his mouth were "can I play Lego Star Wars?". At least Prince #1 had the decency to say "Good morning mommy" first)
It was bad enough when Brad discovered the Wii (and even got an HDTV adapter for it....because everyone KNOWS that you can't transition from a Nintendo 64 to a Wii unless it is in HD!). Now the boys are trying to convince me that their daily hour shouldn't include "Daddy Wii time", because we only have 2 controllers so they are losing some of their hour when Daddy has the controller. (yeah - they can't find their shoes when they are standing right next to them, but they have that "Wii time" figured out to the fraction of the second)
But did it HAVE to go in the family room? The family room that is right next to the kitchen? The kitchen & family room where I spend a good 50% of my day either making food, cleaning up food, doing dishes or picking up toys?

It's official: You're the meanest mother in the world. I'm not saying that the pot's calling the kettle black, but I will say Tetris and... PUZZNIC!
