These A Few Of My Favorite Blogs!

So it occurred to me that some people may think that I do nothing but think about coupons and deals.  While I have my kids sufficiently trained to spot a peelie at 500 yards, I do have other interests outside coupons, Pinot Grigio and Bud Light Lime (seriously - Bud Light Lime peeps:  I have drank enough of your product to pay for 18 BlogHer tickets.  You want to tap in to the Drunken Coupon Queen demographic?  I'm your gal!  Sponsor me!)

So here's what I am reading when I should be cleaning, doing laundry, or looking for deals:

The Bloggess:

My daily dose of humor.  Seriously - I love this woman and really hope that she goes to BlogHer in August because I will be checking every bathroom to meet her (read her blog - she hangs in bathrooms because of anxiety attacks).  I can't remember ever reading a boring post of hers and her Twitter stream just cracks me up! (fair warning - she's very liberal with the curse words)

Audrey's Blog:

Audrey spent years in the fashion industry before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her 4 boys (YIKES! - 3 kids are kicking my butt!).  She dispenses daily fashion advice for moms....and not the moms who show up at the soccer game with their 3" heels (I think I just dissed myself!)...."regular moms".  What I like is that she understands that moms want comfort, but they also want style at a great price.  I've also met her at a few blogging events and she is just one heck of a nice person!

Musings of a Housewife:

Jo-Lynne is local to me (I actually met her at the pool when I recognized her from her Twitter avatar) and we are as different as two people can be.  She is sweet, nice, skinny, knows when she's had enough wine and I've never heard her curse.  I am snarky, love my wine, NOT skinny and can curse like a sailor.  Despite that, she's one of my favorite bloggy friends to be around!  Jo-Lynne writes about her life with her children and has a HUGE arsenal of yummy recipes!

Deep South Dish:

Definitely not diet-friendly, but if you are looking for good old fashioned Southern Comfort Food, you can't go wrong with Mary!

Cake Wrecks:

Think you are bad at decorating cakes?  You will feel like Martha Stewart when you see some of the so-called-professionally-made cakes that the "Wreckerators" send in to Cake Wrecks!

Aiming Low:

A collaboration of bloggers with one goal in mind:  to show that the Perfect Mom is a myth...that what you consider "failings" as a parent are things that we all do.....they just admit it! (another one that is liberal with the curse words)
